In Part 8 of my 2014 bike tour of Houston with Andrew Groocock of the Professional Tour Guide Association of Houston, we head on over to the Downtown Aquarium, which Andrew tells us was the former site of Houston Fire Station 1. We stop outside of what is the aquarium’s least used entrance and a perfect spot to park your bike before heading into the complex.
Next up is Part 9, where we’ll take a look at three Downtown Houston skyscrapers with quite fascinating designs: One Shell Plaza, Wells Fargo Plaza, and Heritage Plaza.
